We all have certain parts of our bodies that we are unhappy with. It can be anything from the shape of your nose to the appearance of your breasts. But for many women, the unsightly bulge of underarm fat known as the bra bulge is the thing that makes them the most self-conscious. Although it has long been considered a specialized treatment to help patients help treat of the double chin, Kybella® Nonsurgical Fat Reduction has other uses including helping reduce the bra bulge. Kybella® treatments for the arms are relatively simple. A series of small injections are made near the armpit area. The main ingredient in Kybella® is deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in our bodies that helps break down and absorb dietary fat. Kybella® destroys the fat cells in the bra bulge so they can no longer accumulate fat.
SculpSure® Nonsurgical Fat Reduction
For patients who would prefer to go the nonsurgical route for treating their bra bulge, SculpSure® nonsurgical fat reduction can be just the thing. SculpSure® uses controlled heat to target fat cells deep below the skin’s layers to kill the fat cells in the treated area. Once the fat cells are destroyed, the fat deposits leak out of the cells and eventually exit the body. SculpSure® can provide excellent, natural-looking results without the need for any downtime.
Liposuction
Liposuction is the most popular way to reduce of unwanted fat around the armpit. Performing liposuction on the bra bulge can improve the proportion and appearance of the arms, reducing the need to think twice before wearing your favorite tank top. During the procedure, tiny incisions are made, usually near the elbow or the armpit crease. A thin micro cannula is inserted into the area and the extra fat is suctioned out, contouring the area. After liposuction, patients will quickly notice a significant difference to the contours of their arms.
No matter which of these cosmetic procedures you choose for your bra bulge reduction, the results will be much-improved and long-lasting.
