With Thanksgiving season upon us, I thought that now would be a perfect time to reflect on all the things that my staff and I at Southern Plastic Surgery have to be thankful for. Frankly, we have so much to give thanks for this year. To help everyone get into the spirit of the season, I wanted to take a moment to mention just a few of these things we are grateful for, as well as some of the most in-demand cosmetic surgery procedures we perform this time of year.
First and foremost, we are incredibly thankful to have such incredible, loyal patients. We have the best patients in the world and nothing we do would be possible without their support through the years. More so, we were extremely appreciative to be able to welcome so many of our patients back to our office following last year’s uncertainty and difficulty.
The holiday season is an incredibly popular time for plastic surgery procedures for many reasons. The cooler winter temperatures mean more time spent inside and loose clothing that can make concealing post-surgical garments far easier than during the summer months. Additionally, the holidays often provide additional time away from work which can be incredibly helpful for patients and give them the time they need to heal.
This time of year, body contouring procedures like liposuction are very in-demand. With all the big meals and holiday snacking, putting on a few extra pounds can be difficult and sometimes unavoidable. However, using liposuction to remove pockets of unwanted fat can help patients look and feel their best as they enter the New Year. Additionally, facial procedures like the croton oil peel, facelift surgery, and eyelid surgery can be incredibly helpful for anyone trying to rejuvenate their look for an upcoming holiday party. Just remember, there will be some downtime so plan accordingly.
