Welcome Dr. Marc Klein
We are honored to have the chance to bring on Dr. Marc Klein as our new associate plastic surgeon, joining Dr. Whiteman. Dr. Klein has been performing plastic surgery procedures in the Atlanta area for over 27 years. Throughout the years, Dr. Klein has developed a reputation for being able to deliver terrific plastic surgery results, while also offering a unique brand of honest, but compassionate advice. All of these qualities, along with his vast plastic surgery experience, made Dr. Klein such an excellent fit with Dr. Whiteman and Southern Plastic Surgery.
While his experience is comprehensive, Dr. Klein often focuses on body contouring surgery and cosmetic breast procedures. Dr. Klein is passionate and emphatic about embracing new surgical techniques and medical technologies when possible to enhance his patients aesthetic results and plastic surgery experience. This includes using his signature drainless (and painless!) tummy tuck technique, a surgical method that uses progressive tension sutures (instead of surgical drains) to enhance the surgical result and simplify the post-procedure recovery period.
Specialized Expertise & Innovative Techniques
With the arrival of Dr. Klein, we will also be providing our patients the opportunity to experience certain cutting edge plastic surgery enhancements. This includes the use of ultrasound technology, both for diagnostic and procedural means. Ultrasound can be used to provide women interested in breast revision or breast implant removal an effective and inexpensive way to determine the integrity of their breast implants. Additionally, we can now use ultrasound technology to apply long-acting anesthetics like Exparel®, which can help safely reduce discomfort typically associated with certain procedures for the body and breasts.
