One of the most common questions I receive from prospective plastic surgery patients is whether it is possible to have multiple plastic surgeries performed at once. While the answer may depend on the health of each individual patient, more often than not, it is very safe to undergo a combined plastic surgery procedure. It’s normal for patients to have more than one area of their appearance that they would like to correct or improve with surgery, and combining procedures can often help cut back on recovery time and overall surgery expenses. Although there are several potentially beneficial combination procedures available, I have taken some time to highlight a few of the most popular cosmetic combinations to consider.

Mommy Makeover

The most-commonly performed combined plastic surgery is a mommy makeover. Not exclusively for mothers, this outstanding procedure is intended to help women who wish to offset the effects of pregnancy, significant weight loss, or natural aging and regain a more youthful, leaner body contour. My mommy makeover combines a tummy tuck (using my signature Scarpa fascia technique for waist enhancement), liposuction, and a cosmetic breast surgery (augmentation, reduction, or lift) to help patients turn back the clock and look better than ever before.

Post-Weight Loss Surgery

After losing a large amount of weight, whether naturally or with the help of weight loss surgery, it’s normal to experience loose, stretched-out skin on areas all over the body. Post-bariatric (or post-weight loss) surgery can help. Body contouring procedures like a body lift, arm lift, or thigh lift can often be combined for patients who wish to finish off their weight loss journey by removing unwanted, excess skin and tightening the remaining skin.

Facelift and Croton Oil Peel

Facial aging is a natural part of life. Thankfully, patients who seek cosmetic solutions to visible signs of aging have several excellent aesthetic options to choose from. At my practice, it has become very popular for patients to combine facelift surgery with a Croton Oil Peel. A Croton Oil Peel can complement the effects of a facelift by brightening and enhancing the newly lifted facial skin. Combining a facelift with a Croton Oil Peel can help reveal a beautiful, younger-looking face for years to come.

Regardless of which procedures you are considering, the path to undergoing a combined plastic surgery procedure begins by finding an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon to safely perform your surgery.
